Sungai Long Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, Jack Nicklaus designed course, located 15-minutes-drive outside Kuala Lumpur in the city of Selangor.
When it officially opened in 1992, it was the first Jack Nicklaus designed course in Malaysia, although subsequent courses later followed. The club is consistently ranked in the top 15 courses in Malaysia.
Laid out over a 160-acre site, the course underwent much-needed renovations in 2013 to improve drainage and the condition of the greens. The course now features immaculate greens and meticulously maintained fairways. The signature hole is the 198-yard, 17th where a long carry is required to avoid one of four lakes on the course and reach the green which is surrounded by strategically placed bunkers.
Besides the golf course, the club also boasts two clubhouses, fully equipped with first-class health and fitness facilities, including squash courts, tennis courts and a swimming pool.
Conveniently located close to the International Airport, Sungai Long Golf & Country Club is well worth a round if you are visiting Kuala Lumpur.
