The Starhill Golf & Country Club is home to two 18-hole, par-72 courses, namely the Bintang Course and the Bukit Course.
The Bintang Course is a lightly tree lined, parkland layout with fairways turfed in Zoysia Matrell and greens in Tifdwarf. This course has staged a number of large tournaments throughout the years. At 7,100 yards in length from the back tees, the course has generously wide fairways to assist low scoring, however well-placed water hazards help increase the level of difficulty. The signature hole is the par-3, 16th which plays at 194 yards and boasts a star-shaped green.
The Bukit Course is generally considered the easier of the two courses, with wider fairways and fewer water obstacles. It is not however without its challenges. Bukit in Malay means ‘hill’ so it will come as no surprise that the course is laid out over dramatic, undulating ground. Dense jungle used to border many areas of the course however this has been replaced by a huge housing development. Unfortunately, scenic views of the course have been dramatically impacted and monkeys no longer swing from the treetops during your round.
