Opened in 1994, Bangi Golf Course is a 36-hole Ronald Fream and David Dale designed golf course. Located 22km south of Kuala Lumpur, this attractive parkland layout is one of the closest golf courses to the city center.
Challenges come in the form of well-positioned bunkers along the fairways and greens and water hazards on at least half of the holes. The signature hole is the par- 4, 7th, with a testing carry over water to the green. Golfers are given a choice of five different tee boxes. Most players would usually opt for the Blue tees but at Bangi Golf Resort they actually equate to the normal white tees, so lower-handicapped golfers are advised to plump for the Black tees. With its combination of both testing and easy holes, Bangi is suitable for both beginner and experienced golfers alike.
Although course conditioning and maintenance are average, very reasonable green fees make it an appealing course to play. If you are looking for a fun round and a pleasant day out, Bangi Golf Resort will not disappoint.
