Opened in 1994, Staffield Country Resort is a 27-hole, Graham Marsh and Ross Watson designed course an hours’ drive from Kuala Lumpur city center. In 2001, Golf Malaysia named the resort, one of the ‘Top 10 Golf Courses in Malaysia’ in 2004, they named it the ‘3rd Best Golf Course in Malaysia’.
The Bermuda grassed three nines are laid out over 335 acres of rolling hills and meadows and are considered one of the most challenging courses around the Kuala Lumpur area. Staffield is based on a gently, undulating layout with relatively wide fairways, top-quality bunkering and some of the best maintained greens you will find in Malaysia. All three nines include water hazards, fairway mounding and strategically placed sand bunkers. The Western and Southern Nines play to 3,108 meters and while the Northern Nine is slightly longer at 3,197 meters.
The resort offers golfers a relaxed game of golf, away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Kuala Lumpur city. The English Tudor-styled clubhouse at Staffield features locker rooms and a pro-shop. Other facilities include tennis courts, squash courts, a swimming pool and a fitness center.
